Extend Video
Extend Video Guide
The Extend Video (EXT) tab lets you seamlessly lengthen or continue an existing clip using AI.

1. Mode Selector
At the top, choose your generation mode:
T2V (Text → Video)
I2V (Image → Video)
SR (Subject Reference)
EXT (Extend Video)
F-L (First Frame → Last Frame)
Tip: Select EXT to build onto your reference video.
2. Add Reference Video
Click Select or Upload Video (or drag-and-drop).
Upload your base clip—the AI will use its last frame as the starting point for extension.
3. Settings Panel
Keep defaults for a smooth experience or fine-tune:
Model
Choose an extension-capable engine (e.g. Hailuo Base, Hailuo Live, WAN 2.1, Runway Gen4, etc.). Each shows runtime and credit cost.
Number of Videos
Generate 1–5 extended variations in one batch. (Default = 1)
Generate Sound
Toggle on to auto-add sound effects (5 extra credits)
Aspect Ratio
Select framing for your extension: • 16:9 (widescreen) • 9:16 (vertical) • 1:1 (square)
4. Prompt Box
Describe how the new segment should play out:
Type your extension direction (e.g. “Continue panning right to reveal a sunset”).
Optimized Tag appears if prompt optimization is active.
Credit Counter shows the cost for extending your clip.
Send (↑) Button starts the extension process.
Clear (🗑️) Icon resets the instructions.
5. Monitoring Your Job
After sending, view your extension in the Generation Feed:
Progress Bar & Percentage
Mode Tag & Model Name
Timestamp
Hover for a quick preview or click to open full-screen.
6. Post-Processing Controls
Hover over your finished extension to access:
Add to Library: Save to Assets
Download: Export to your device
Upscale: Increase resolution (2K → 4K) using credits
Smooth Motion: Apply frame interpolation for fluid playback
Delete: Remove the generation (with confirmation)
With Extend Video, you can grow your story beyond the initial clip—just upload your video, describe the continuation, and watch AI do the rest!
