Bede is a rival character from Pokémon Sword and Shield. He is an arrogant and ambitious trainer who was initially endorsed by Chairman Rose to challenge the Gym Challenge. He specializes in Psychic-type Pokémon and later becomes the Ballonlea Gym Leader, taking over from Opal who trained him in Fairy-type Pokémon.
